Royal Deck operates Price My Deck (“we,” “us,” or the “Site”). This policy covers this calculator, its design preview, and its catalog pages. It describes the current version of the Site.
Royal Deck’s separate estimate-request website and other external websites have their own privacy notices. Our Terms of Use explain the calculator’s limitations.
2. Calculator and design selections
You can enter deck dimensions, project type, railing length, stairs, materials, colors and upgrades. The calculator and 3D preview use these selections in your browser to show an illustrative estimate and design. The Site does not provide an account, payment form or contact-information form, and the calculator does not submit your selections to a Royal Deck database.
The application keeps the current selections in browser memory. It does not write them to cookies, local storage or session storage. Your browser may independently remember form entries, browsing history or a page restored after navigation.
Some links can contain project type, dimensions or stair counts in the URL. Those values may appear in browser history and hosting request records. Do not put names, addresses or other sensitive information in a shared URL.
If you use a compatible browser or assistant integration, that service can read the displayed estimate and inputs or update calculator selections through the Site’s supported tools. Information handled by that service is also subject to its privacy notice and your settings with that service.
3. Information needed to deliver the Site
When your browser requests a page, image or other resource, it sends technical information to the hosting and delivery providers. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, and request time. Providers may process request and security logs to deliver the Site, diagnose errors and protect their services.
Hosting-provider collection and retention are separate from the calculator’s in-browser processing. This policy does not promise that browsing creates no technical records.
5. Quote requests, messages and external links
The quote buttons open Royal Deck’s estimate-request page. The current buttons include a referral label identifying Price My Deck as the source; they do not attach your calculator selections or contact information. Information you submit there is handled under Royal Deck’s privacy policy for that website.
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to address your inquiry. Please provide only what is needed and avoid sending payment-card details or other sensitive information.
